He told me that there would be lots of beavers there. Hmm, OK! That sounds neat! I like fuzzy animals, and beavers are WAY cooler than squirrels (and ducks, too). :P

We got there an...

The other day, my people went to the library and checked out a book for me to read! Have any of you heard of Beverly Cleary? She wrote some wonderful books about Ramona Quimby, Henry Huggins and a bunch of their friends!

The book they brought me home to read is called Ribsy! It's about Henry Huggins' dog!!! Right up my alley! So I took the book outside in the warm sun and read a few chapters.

So apparently something big is happening this week. Something about royalty, fancy hats, carriages and fanfare.

What could it be?

Are you excited??? Daisy a...

A glimpse into one of our training sessions :)

We are so proud of Mr. P lately. We're still taking classes every week, learning more and more about agility. This is something we've never done with any of our dogs before so it's a whole new experience! We are definitely learning that it is like a dance -- so much easier to watch than actually do. It's a movement, a language, that you learn and, with practice, you develop a feel for. It's SO much fun!

With that being said, Parker is absolutely amazing. He is such an awesom...

Well, we made our Twibite spoof for this Halloween... but what now? We still have a few days before the kids come knocking at our door... and the pumpkins have YET to be carved! Hey! That's a good idea... let's carve pumpkins!

Believe it or not, we've slacked off the past few years and haven't actually carved any of our pumpkins. So Parker was in for a treat.

About a month ago we went on a walk with Golden Bond Rescue, the golden retriever rescue organization of Portland, OR. It was such a fun day, and you could tell all the dogs enjoyed getting out!

In all, we walked about 7 miles, and felt really great afterwards!

Parker and Daisy met a lot of new friends!
